Why Logo China Pro doesn't offer cash refunds
Trademark registration in China is a legal administrative process governed by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The outcome of any trademark application is entirely at the discretion of the official CNIPA examiner assigned to your case. Because Logo China Pro cannot control the examiner's final decision, Logo China Pro does not offer cash refunds if your application is rejected. The studio's fee covers the professional time, expertise, and administrative work required to prepare, file, and monitor your application, as well as the non-refundable government fees paid directly to CNIPA.
As a focused studio (not a law firm), Logo China Pro keeps the studio's pricing transparent and intentionally lower than traditional agencies -- $297 for filing only, $397 for the Logo + Filing combo, and $797 for the Pro 3-class bundle. This pricing model only works because every paid filing slot is committed to actually doing the work. There is no margin built in to absorb refunds for outcomes that are decided by the CNIPA examiner.
The studio's filing guarantee -- when the clock starts
Logo China Pro stands behind the studio's filing turnaround. If Logo China Pro doesn't file your trademark application with CNIPA within 10 working days from the moment all conditions below are met, you get a full refund of the service fee for that package.
The 10 working day clock starts on the day all of the following are confirmed:
- Payment received in full
- Complete briefing materials provided -- company name, registered address, business license scan, country, and Nice class confirmation
- Signed Power of Attorney (POA) returned to Logo China Pro
- Logo finalized -- for Trademark Filing ($297), your supplied logo files received; for Combo ($397) and Pro Multi-class ($797), your written approval of the final logo design
What happens when an application is rejected
If CNIPA issues an Office Action or a Notice of Rejection for your trademark application, Logo China Pro's service does not end there. Here is what Logo China Pro does:
- Free Analysis:
Logo China Pro will review the rejection notice, translate the examiner's reasoning, and provide a clear, plain-English analysis of why the mark was refused.
- Strategic Options:
Logo China Pro will outline your available options, such as filing an appeal (Review of Refusal), negotiating a coexistence agreement, or modifying the mark for a new application.
- Attorney Referral:
If an appeal is viable and you choose to proceed, Logo China Pro will refer you to a qualified, licensed Chinese trademark attorney who specializes in CNIPA appeals. Appeal legal fees are separate and paid directly to the attorney.
- No Free Re-submission:
If you choose to file a brand-new application instead of appealing, that is treated as a separate engagement at the same package rate. The original filing fee is not credited toward a new submission, because the professional work, government fees, and CNIPA filing slot for the original application have already been consumed.
Logo design revisions
Logo packages include 3 initial drafts + 1 final version + 3 free rounds of revisions on the chosen direction. Additional rounds are $49 each, limited to 2 detail-level edits per round. Design-direction changes are not covered and require a new package. Additional $49 revision rounds must be requested within 12 months of final logo delivery -- beyond that window, changes are treated as a new engagement quoted separately.
Chargeback & disputes
Logo China Pro operates a transparent, flat-fee service and communicates all risks upfront. Before initiating any credit card chargeback or PayPal dispute, please email Logo China Pro first at hello@logochinapro.com -- Logo China Pro responds within 24 hours and works directly with you to resolve any concern, whether that means clarifying the CNIPA process, providing additional documentation, or discussing a partial credit toward a future filing where appropriate. Filing a chargeback or dispute without first contacting Logo China Pro is considered a breach of these terms; in that event, Logo China Pro reserves the right to suspend all ongoing monitoring of your CNIPA files and to submit the studio's communication records and this policy to the payment processor.
If you have any questions about this Refund Policy or the risks associated with China trademark registration, please contact Logo China Pro at hello@logochinapro.com before making a purchase.
